At ChinaJoy 2024, UltiZeroGames presented a new demo for its upcoming action RPG, Lost Soul Aside. So, below, you can find a video that showcases 8 minutes of gameplay from it.
Lost Soul Aside started as an action Unreal Engine 4 indie game, inspired by Final Fantasy XV. The game’s protagonist was based on FFXV’s Noctis, and the game quickly got everyone’s attention. That was back in 2016.
From what we know, UltiZeroGames is still using Unreal Engine 4 and has not moved on to Unreal Engine 5.
Back in August 2023, NVIDIA revealed that the game will support DLSS 3 and Ray Tracing on PC. However, we still don’t know the RT effects that the game will be using.
There is currently no ETA on when Lost Soul Aside will come out. UltiZeroGames aims to release it on both PC and PS5. Or at least that was the plan a year ago.
Enjoy the video and stay tuned for more!

This game was announced in July 2016, I entered college 3 months later, graduated from it after 5 years (could've been even just 4 years as per average graduation estimation by the college) and during the heights of COVID-19 in 2021, and now I'm 3 years employed at a job and this has yet to be released.
The game may have been announced back in 2016 but it only started to truly kick off a few years later around 2021. It was around that time when Bing Yang (lead developer) was able to secure investments from several publishers like Tencent and Sony, and form a development team. Back then what we saw was only a prototype made with little to no budget during his free time. He was using assets from UE's marketplace.
The Last Guardian was in development hell for 8 years and that game was entirely backed by Sony from the start. So I think this is doing well when you put things into consideration.
Is this still only being developed by one person?
Also, dear GOD! I've seen 240p videos that looked more clear.
I was wondering the same thing, cool gimmick to market your game, but isn't it better to get more people involved so you don't expend your entire lifetime making a single game?
No, he was able to assemble a team back in 2021 because of investments from Tencent and Sony.
at least this is not souls like.
Boycott China the most possible.
No
Because? How China hurt you?
They spread their commie ideology, send their people to breed in our countries and they're fundamentally opposed to western civilization values (not as much as disgusting brownie Muslims like you though).
I liked your SJW persona better, this is just boring.
Of course you do, you probably want to have intense non-stop high octane g4y s*x with me. I’m sorry, I’ve always thought of you as a friend and nothing more. It’s never going to happen because I like girls (unlike you).
100% Screw china and screw muzmuz
I do like this website because the free speech with a certain respect. As a french chinadian I'm learning english a lot.
Enjoy your stay! Yes, this is indeed a good GAMING site, one of the last resorts to gaming sites with free speech and not some political agenda-pushing and brainwashing site disguising as a "gaming" site like (((VGC, EuroGaymer, PCGaymer))), etc.
>French chinadian
With how brown the invading hordes have been in Canada lately, it's more like French-Chennaidian
