New A Plague Tale: Innocence trailer showcases the game’s monsters

Focus Home Interactive has released a brand new trailer for A Plague Tale: Innocence. Showcased in this new “Monsters” trailer, while the deadly swarms of rats consume all they come across, harrying Amicia and Hugo’s long journey, far more familiar foes pick their moment to strike with more care.

The English army, local brigands and, worst of all, The Inquisition and their mysterious master, Vitalis pursue the siblings with a deadly enthusiasm, spurred on by unknown forces.

Lord Nicholas, the commander of the Inquisition’s forces, is the helmeted face of fear for the local populace under the boot heel of his army, and for Amicia and Hugo as they flee.

“He is brutal and uncompromising, willing to do whatever it takes to complete his mission to capture and return the siblings to his master. Strong, fast, with zealots at his every beck and call, he will be a formidable and merciless foe.”

A Plague Tale: Innocence is described as an emotional, nerve-wracking adventure through medieval France stricken with war, Plague, and the Inquisition in a narrative and world that is as deadly as it is beautiful.

The game is currently planned for a May 14th release.

Enjoy!

  1. Something about this game draws me in, Won’t pre-order, because reasons. But holding my eye on this.

      1. I wait for few day after the release to see how buggy and whats the feedback. If it’s too buggy then it better to wait half a year and buy it then.
Their development history also does not impress me so. I will be careful 🙂

        1. Yeah I know what you mean, pretty much the majority of games these days is better after a half a year + with patches etc.

I usually do it just to support the good/cool devs or if I really like the game. But your right it is best to wait if you don’t want to put up with any of the day one release issues or unfinished work.

Really hope it will be good, fingers crossed.

  2. There’s a lot good game released in may,but this one is my priority along with Yakuza 2..

    1. you’re constantly on social media and get excited over every trash that comes out (no offense), do you mind if i ask what do you do for living?

      1. I used to be a Software Engineer for 14 years, I left my job and went full time as a game engine and indie game developer(both my dream projects). I have my own company and work for my self. Having said that I have not sold a game yet and am still working on my first game in my own game engine.

Basically I love video games and only look at what I like about them not what is wrong or sucks(they all have faults). I could criticize any video game but I choose to focus on what I like about it. Been playing since the Arcade, C64, Atari 2600 era & never stopped. Video games are my life.

Probably why I seem excited and I like a lot of games, it’s what I legit love in life.
