2K Games has released a new trailer for Mafia 3. Mafia 3 is set in the open world of 1968 New Bordeaux, a reimagined version of New Orleans bustling with activity and complete with era-inspired cars, fashion and music. The game is planned for an October 7th release, and this trailer showcases how the team has created New Orleans. Enjoy!

Have had the pleasure of completing all Mafia games up until this point. Can’t wait for this latest installment.
The only thing that puts me off so far is the driving. It looks way to arcadey for my taste but the rest of the game looks ok.
Yeah esp in the earlier trailers, where the car’s where blowing up like it was a Micheal Bay flick. I did hear the devs say they had turned up the explosions and physics for that demo/trailer, but really only time will tell. It seems like driving in these types of games are very hard to get right. I love the driving in GTA, but load up Just Cause 2/3 and an other wise strong game just has bad bad driving
Pretty world that will most likely suffer from extremely low interactivity.
Yeah, every damn open world game. Every time.
That was the big, strike against Mafia II by critics, that it was a gorgeous world with nothing to do. It does seem like they are trying to address that somewhat. The problem w/ open world games/ esp crime simulators is they will inevitably be compared to GTA, and many times a studio will not have the budget or time to build out a world to the level that Rockstar does. I would be happy with a strong narrative and a good amount of side activities in each district
I dont see how it has plenty of icons in the map and these are not the same devs as 2.
Exactly. I know it’ll be far off, but I can’t wait for virtual worlds that are so alive you could live in them in VR and talk to NPCs for hours that each have a backstory, emotions, the ability to respond to speech, .etc.
Meanwhile consoles are having a great time in Fallout 4 Far Harbour. Sony’s quality control really got thrown out the Window again.

What the hell has fallout4 on consoles got to do with Mafia3 on a PC gaming website??? Get a grip
Nothing, some people like a laugh here, so calm down and chill.
