Damnit 2015 buzz off already!
The Star Citizen team had a heck of a time porting over the Cryengine to 64 bit, and they have some of the people that made the Cryengine! How is Warhorse Studio solving this problem?
Lmao because it’s a 1:1 comparison.
Double floating point precision is useful no matter the map size.
16KM^2
Ugh that’s really small.
Doesn’t really matter. Oblivion and Skyrim are bigger but those worlds are largely copy-pasted and generic. Take for example the Gothic worlds (1 and 2) they are smaller but carefully handcrafted ’til the last cm, and that makes those games a real joy to explore. Hopefully Daniel Vavra’s game will be more like the Gothics in this regard.
