Duke Nukem 3D feature

Here is your first look at Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary Edition World Tour’s “True3D Rendering” mode

A few days ago, Gearbox revealed the 20th Anniversary Edition of Duke Nukem 3D, Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary Edition World Tour. This Edition will feature an all-new “True3D Rendering” mode and IGN has shared a video, showcasing the game running under this mode. To be honest, there aren’t many differences between the original and this “new HD” mode (other than some additional lighting effects, some extra filtering and better aspect ratio scaling). But anyway, enjoy the video after the jump!

    1. Yeah, sure, though I can understand kids using a controller to play CoD, Battlefield, etc with aim assist on consoles, but with Duke3D and on PC???

Then again I shouldn’t be surprised, it’s IGN after all.

      1. back in the day, we didn’t even use a mouse, all we had was some crazy verticle aim assist and we liked it!

    2. because the mouse and keyboard is old…like the pc gaming, today with controller you can play all games, example with a keyboard you can’t play mortal kombat or street fighter, with a controller you can play fps, rts, fighters etc….

      1. And racing games.

Then there’s stuff like 2D platformers where it can go either way, and mostly settles on opinion.

  1. They later made him cancel it. And that fan was the guy who went on to create Interceptor Entertainment….who tried to make another Duke game that Gearbox again forced them to cancel and it became Bombshell.

  2. They never sued TerminX, they threatened to if he released the mobile port he was working on but he never did. He later admitted he was wrong and has made up with Gearbox, he even contributed some stuff to this new version.
