Here is Project CARS 2 running in 4K on Ultra settings at 60fps on a single NVIDIA GTX1080

NVIDIA has released a new video, showcasing Slightly Mad Studios’ Project CARS 2 running in 4K on Ultra settings. This video was captured on a single NVIDIA GeForce GTX1080 (not the newly announced GTX1080Ti). From the looks of it, this new racing game will be better optimized than its predecessor as NVIDIA’s GPU was able to run it in 4K with 60fps. Enjoy!

  1. That fat friend of mine who will buy next week gtx 1080 ti will be very happy to hear it!!

  2. Does that mean Project Cars 2 is actually optimized this time around, or does it look worse (in detail) compared to the first game?

        1. No, 1440/60 aswell, but don’t it require a compatible display?
I think I’ve read that somewhere (can’t confirm).

          1. I have 4K display. So problem is somewhere else or there is no 4K version of this video.

          2. That’s a common misconception: you don’t need a 4K screen to select 4K quality on YT vids. Selecting 4K on 1440p or 1080p monitor just adds more bitrate to the vid, it’s like using supersampling, it makes it look better.

  3. GTX 1080 4K60
    GTX 1060 6GB 1440p60 or (GTX1070)
    GTX 1050TI 1080p60 or (GTX1060 3GB)

Simple and for all games pls. 😀 😀 😀

  4. It seems they haven’t changed textures. Still low-detailed and blurry. Also, that aliasing…

  5. Take note ubisoft, Watchdogs 2 on launch was running at around 40fps on my 2 gtx 980ti cards and 6700K on 3440×1440 resolution. Terrible!
