Square Enix has launched a playable demo of STRANGER OF PARADISE FINAL FANTASY ORIGIN on PS5. And, since this game will be also coming to PC, you can find below a video showcasing one hour of gameplay footage from it.
STRANGER OF PARADISE FINAL FANTASY ORIGIN is a Final Fantasy spin-off from Team Ninja. From the looks of it, this an action RPG that feels like a mix between Nioh and Final Fantasy.
The demo gives players the opportunity to experience a taste of the full game centering on Jack and his allies, Ash and Jed. Players can explore this dark fantasy world as they battle an array of iconic monsters from the FINAL FANTASY series. Players can also use powerful spells and abilities from a sample of jobs including warrior, dragoon and black mage.
STRANGER OF PARADISE FINAL FANTASY ORIGIN is coming to PC in 2022.

So they did not make the promised FF15 DLC, but they do give the engine and all the assets to another team so they can downgrade the graphics and create an even shittier FF spinoff for the PS5?

Finished the demo a couple of times, the game plays great. Visuals and performance are awful though, it definitely felt like an early alpha. Core combat system is excellent, takes a lot of systems from Nioh. It’s like playing a mix of Nioh and Devil may Cry, looking forward to the full game.
The title of the videos says PS5 gameplay but this looks like PS3. How did they manage the make to look like that with such horsepower they have from this console + their graphics engine? Amateur hour.
