A new in-engine cutscene video from Hogwarts Legacy was presented at the AutoDesk 2022 Day Presentation. And while this video is not even one-minute long, it’s certainly something that some Harry Potter fans will find interesting.
Hogwarts Legacy is a third-person immersive, open-world action RPG, developed by Avalanche Software. In this game, players will experience a new story set at Hogwarts in the 1800s. Your character is a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart. Players will make allies, battle Dark wizards, and decide the fate of the wizarding world. Additionally, players will grow their magical abilities by mastering spells, brewing potions and taming fantastic beasts.
Hogwarts Legacy promises to have immersive magic, putting players at the center of their adventure to become the witch or wizard they choose to be. They will grow their character’s abilities as they master powerful spells, hone combat skills and select companions to help them face off against deadly enemies. Players will also encounter missions and scenarios that will pose difficult choices and determine what they stand.
As Warner Bros has stated, the game won’t have any microtransactions or online co-op.
Lastly, Hogwarts Legacy will release in Holiday 2022!

Well, can’t argue with that since it’s your taste. I liked what I see so far, but I’m not getting my hopes too high.
To me the biggest issue is the state of the IP nowadays, surrounded by pandering and all that stuff that a lot of us hate. Removing all that and judging as a game and just that, it has potential to be a interesting mix of Bully with some metroidvenia (maybe?) .
Yeah, some “games” out there have nothing but race war on them. But those are easily avoidable, since they bring nothing we’d like to play with or see.
I’m in a state of revisiting some not too old games and now it’s time for another run of Ryse Son of Rome.
To be honest, I like the universe, atmosphere and the story which probably will be full of mystries but the trans characters, woke idealogy injection, pozzed, false dipcition of women leadership is really making the taste sour and then make it completly garbage. Not even pirating it.
Well, tbh, I’m not affected by politics in games, I just ignore it. After all, I don’t play looking for this kind of stuff, I always have in mind that that is nothing but a form of enterteinment. And if they depict women in leadership positions, I like it better cause it adds some extra comedy.

Change my mind. Harry Potter is a bloated, poor man’s Star Wars trilogy, that even ripped off the same friend/romance triangle. It’s the most overrated piece of fiction in history (brilliant cash grab by JK Rowling though) and the fans are the most insufferable group of losers in the history of fandom. They hate the author (because the media told them to) for not supporting troons calling themselves women, yet can’t progress past reading young adult books because they are imbeciles.
The average Harry Potter stan sits on Twitter all day, talking about trusting the science, while also talking about their horoscope. They are also huge Buffy the Vampire fans.
