Here is 14 minutes of gameplay footage from Monster Hunter World

IGN has shared a new video, showing 14 minutes of gameplay footage from the Gamescom 2017 build of Monster Hunter World. Monster Hunter: World sees players take on the role of a hunter that completes various quests to hunt and slay monsters within a lively living and breathing eco-system full of predators and prey.

Players will be able to utilize survival tools to aid them in their hunt. By using these skills to their advantage hunters can lure monsters into traps and even pit them against each other in an epic fierce battle.

Monster Hunter World will be coming to the PC after its console release in 2018.

  1. I’m not a fan of how the game’s tutorial treats you like a child, let alone the focus on hand holding you towards finding monsters.

    1. I’m of the opinion that all tutorials should be made skippable no matter what. I absolutely loathe replaying games and having to do the dumb scripted tutorials every time.

    2. For me it is. It treats you like a total dolt and I’ve seen far better tutorials that treat you with respect than this trite.

  2. Wasn’t really sold the first time Monster Hunter World was announced, but now that I’ve seen some gameplay…

  3. I was Ok with this game, until the part a message popups up: something something “Immobilizing the Mewonster”
    And bunch of kittens hold that monster with ropes, then he went back to camp and his partner is CAT in armor.
    I bet weaboos love this crap.
