Prime Matter showcased seven minutes of gameplay footage from its upcoming third-person action-adventure game, Scars Above. This gameplay footage was captured on PC, so we can safely assume that the game will be coming on our platform.
Prime Matter did not reveal any additional details. However, and from what we can see, Scars Above is inspired by games like Returnal, Dark Souls and Remnant: From the Ashes.
The game also appears to have an investigation system similar to the Batman Arkham series.
The game’s combat appears to be slow, something that may put off some gamers. On the other hand, and for a double-A game, its graphics look great.
There is currently no ETA on when the game will come out.
Enjoy!

God damn, games are generic nowadays. I miss concept games that took risks. While this has a couple interesting aspects, I have zero interest in playing it.

looks like a forgettable flop x360 game.
But hey if its indie and its not full price i can justify it by saying “at least indie devs are getting better”
still the rock aliens are super generic. Id rather the game took place in the spaceship like system shock and dead space.
Could be decent if they improve animations and sound. Right now it looks very dated.
I try not to hate on games, but this looks so boring.
Looks great and i prefer slower combat.
The RPG mechanics are huge plus
these devs get it. less gameplay more walking and talking, that’s what gamers want.
Prime Matter publisher under Koch Media umbrella seems to specialize on generic crap.
