Bethesda has released an extended gameplay video for Arkane’s Deathloop. This brand new gameplay video will give you an idea of how this new Arkane game plays.
Deathloop is a new FPS in which two rival assassins are trapped in a mysterious timeloop on the island of Blackreef, doomed to repeat the same day for eternity.
Bethesda was planning to release the game in May 2021. However, the publisher has delayed it until September 14th.
Lastly, the game will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech.

So pretty much Dishonored with a black protagonist dropping F bombs.
It only has Dishonored’s gameplay elements but it has none of the interesting world/characters/plot. It’s basically “there’s this map, right, and there’s 8 people you have to kill” That’s it.
Everything that made Dishonored a compelling experience is absent here. It’s like the mechanics are there but there’s no soul. It’s just an excuse to shove POC characters down your throat
see about that, how big is the map, we dont know, how long is the game? We dont know, you keep picking up weapons, whats the carrying limit? We dont know. Also we know nothing about the story and lore and this is not me defending it.
This is the best video game reveal of the year. Great premise. Cool game play ideas, decent dialogue and fantastic music.

Yeah i got mixed feelings about this at one hand dishonored with guns, on the other hand the roguelike elements will either mean the game is super short not worth the full price so they made it rogue like or those elements will be done so casually and arcadish that it wont matter. The visual style is a mess its like everything is a low poly model with some paint splashed on it.
I thought the story was gonna be that they are the same person in different timelines. Seems they were just married.
Should be fun for a while i guess on a steam sale.
