John GodGames Emus has shared some videos, showing God of War: Ascension, inFAMOUS 2 and Warriors: Legends of Troy running on the best emulator for Playstation 3, RPCS3. Now before continuing, let me make this clear: these games are far from being playable, have graphical artifacts and lag like crazy.
Despite these slowdowns, however, it’s pretty exciting witnessing these games running on the emulator. With the exception of Warriors: Legends of Troy, our guess is that both God of War: Ascension and inFAMOUS 2 won’t be fully playable by the end of 2018. Still, we should not underestimate RPCS3’s development team that has made huge advances over the last few months.

Indeed. Their album Reign in Blood still sounds phenomenal today. They were all great but Dave Lombardo’s drumming on that album in particular was something else.

I’m going to buy a new PS4 at Walmart, get God of War 4, play through it in an afternoon, return the PS4 for a full refund and sell the game on eBay for 85% of its value. Get to play an “exclusive” for almost no cost.

Sony cracks me up. You have millions of people literally asking for the games and Sony is like “Nah we don’t want your money” because they don’t have the expertise to port these games to PC, even though some of them are literally designed for the same hardware, and because even if they did know how, they don’t care and don’t want to. Like if they released Gord of War on PC somehow, magically, the little Sony brainwashed fangirls would stop buying playstation.
20 years has proven that definitely won’t happen. PS games have been on the PC since the beginning, like FF, RE, Cyberia, etc. and it hasn’t stopped people from buying the consoles.
