When Capcom announced its Summer Showcase 2022 event, a lot of players were expecting to at least see Resident Evil 4 Remake in action. And, disappointingly enough, Capcom has only shown a few seconds of gameplay footage from it.
Resident Evil 4 Remake will be using the RE Engine and is a re-imagination of the 2005 game. Capcom plans to release Resident Evil 4 Remake on March 24th, 2023. And… well… other than this, the Japanese team did not reveal anything new.
So yeah, while I wasn’t really expecting much from this show, I’m still left disappointed. And no, Capcom did not reveal a new Dragon’s Dogma game.
Enjoy!

“Left Dissappointed” right! Capcom shows a glimpse of the game just after announcement trailer and its the most anticipated title in all of the games showcased this year. Just wait for Gamescom and TGS and all the speculations and doubts will be put to rest.
I hope it has mercenaries and assignment ada. CANT wait for this potential masterpiece. Remake Code veronica. THAT ONE is definitely needed.
Just learning/experiencing with mods, eh? That has been happening since the beginning of mod creation mOoNs ago. ?
I think you are taking my statement out of context. Let me explain much better than my first statement.
The Resident Evil titles RE2, RE3, and RE7, all received a so-called next-gen (current-gen) 4K, etc. update for current conSLOWS and a perk or so for PC.
This update also added Ray-tracing (and currently, RT only FULLY supports DX12u cards and current-gen conSLOWS) which means, CAPCOM had to inject RT’s pipeline into its proprietary RE Engine.
Most times when a dev has to revise its in-game engine (~97.999% of the time) it usually breaks all mods due to them making changes to its editor, etc.
It does not matter if it’s “zero use” to you. ?
This is just how it goes in this industry for decades, ?, and if you are lucky that it was not applied to a particular title or so, well, kiss your rabbit foot because LUCK does not happen often in this industry.
Now, I’m down with this discussion with you.
Bon débarras!
then you’re fan of the classic Alone in the Dark games I presume?
Brilliant game for its age.
they gotta revive the franchise … via a passionate indie studio … not by a trend following greedy AAA studio
I’m actually a fan of the 2007 version.

there are 2 latex accounts now?
interesting to see if it can beat the original which wasn’t open orld but it felt like one of the most contiguous feeling enviroments as you move through the game
I love RE4 not as an RE game but as a whacky action-horror shooter. I’ll agree with you however, that Nemesis started the trend of the series going action and RE4 took it too far in that direction.
the graphics are not as good as REmake2. mostly because they are targeting VR as well
Ada as well
It’s the RE3.5 outfit
She still has the t*ts, her face looks 10 times better than the original and they improved Adas t*ts as well.
Stop kvetching
Go play the HD Project mod

I did forgot about the “ballistics” line throw at Ashley bazongas, lmao. Yeah, i’m actually more concerned about changes to the script, RE4 was just perfect.
I don’t think that was their intenction (or the main intenction), game updates usually break mods.
Why would it ruin the old games? Unless the game is so groundbreaking as to make the old ones irrelevant in comparison.
