Here are 29 minutes of gameplay footage from Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age

IGN has shared a new video, showing 29 minutes of gameplay footage from Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. Now since the game releases on September 4th, we strongly suggest avoiding this video (in case you want to experience the part that it showcases yourselves).

DRAGON QUEST XI is said to be a completely standalone experience that features entirely new characters, a beautifully detailed world, finely tuned strategic combat, and an immersive story that will appeal to long-time fans and franchise newcomers alike.

Akira Toriyama, best known for the Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, will design the game’s characters. As such, you will see a lot of similarities with some DBZ characters (for example, the main character looks similar Android 17).
