2K Games and Gearbox have shared a new trailer for New Tales from the Borderlands which features 18 minutes of gameplay footage.
New Tales from the Borderlands is a standalone, choice-based interactive narrative adventure set in the Borderlands universe. In this game, every choice you make can impact how your story unfolds, often in unexpected ways.
As the press release reads:
“Only by playing through the game will you fully understand how your decisions can change the Borderlands.”
The game will also feature numerous QTEs. Succeeding at or failing them has a tangible impact on your adventure, sometimes leading to a premature conclusion and other times shaping your story in unexpected ways.
New Tales from the Borderlands will release on October 21st!

I watched the whole documentary (Empire of Dust) a while back, and that bit of footage really was the best way to end it. I’m guessing you’ve seen it as well, but in case you haven’t I definitely recommend it.

even if I were a member of the LGBQT community, or a socially excluded disable person I would still find cramming this amount of “diversity” into one character (redhead, overweight, and disabled with meaningless tattoos, and a bow tie wearing an apron with cheesy “strong woman” lines 2:16) extremely patronising, condescending and lazy. these so called devs have become a parody of themselves.
You don’t see the organization that represents them getting worked up over these characterizations (and individual ones doesn’t count), so mission accomplished i guess.
