Here are 13 minutes of gameplay footage from REANIMAL

IGN has shared a video showcasing the first 13 minutes of gameplay from REANIMAL. REANIMAL is the new game from the devs behind Little Nightmares I & II. So, if you are a fan of Tarsier Studios, you should definitely check it out.

In this horror adventure game, a brother and sister go through hell to rescue their missing friends and escape the island that they used to call home.

The devs said they have focused a lot on making the game tense and atmospheric. You will explore a world that is both interesting and scary, where the main path is just one part of the bigger story. Along the way, you’ll find many mysterious places, each with its own story to tell.

Tarsier Studios will bring its unique art style to create many new creepy monsters and tough, but broken, child characters. The designs are inspired by pieces of the children’s troubled past, as well as the monsters that now haunt them.

REANIMAL can be played alone or with others. It will have both local and online co-op. The game will use a shared, fixed camera to make the feeling of tight spaces and tension even stronger.

There is currently no ETA on when the game will come out. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.

Enjoy!

  1. This, RE: requiem, Alien isolation 2, I'm not watching any spoilers or stuff. They're very important to me.

  2. For anyone who wants to remove the EA rootkit after BF6 beta.

I've seen it claimed that the rootkit uninstall does not run when the game is removed with a Steam uninstall and you need to take the following steps first.
    1) Open Windows Explorer and search for C:Program FilesEAAC
    2) Click on EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe
You will only have these directories after you have attempted to play the game.
    3) Choose Uninstall All
    4) Now uninstall it via Steam.

The Steam Uninstaller removes the EAAC directory so this can be a big pain if you already did the uninstall. Didn't try it with just the EA App but I imagine it is similar. If you already uninstalled you need to get the installer/uninstaller again? How? IDK. Reinstall it? Maybe they have a webpage for it or something, which is why I am posting this message here to save you time.

Post uninstall tested it with HVIC on which lets you enable Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection. Looks like the rootkit is gone otherwise the latter would not work and give you a warning.
