Reef Entertainment has released two new trailers for Terminator: Resistance, showing 11 minutes of gameplay footage from it. The first trailer shows the game’s first 10 minutes, while the second trailer showcases its combat mechanics.
Terminator: Resistance is an officially licensed, first-person shooter set during the ‘Future War’ scenario that was only glimpsed at in the iconic films from James Cameron, ‘THE TERMINATOR’ and ‘T2: JUDGMENT DAY’.
The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles, nearly 30 years after Judgement Day. The game also introduces a brand new hero in the Terminator universe, Jacob Rivers.
As we’ve already reported, do not expect a triple-A Terminator game. Still, and for a double-A game, this new official Terminator game looks kind of cool.
Terminator: Resistance is using Unreal Engine 4 and will come out on Steam on November 15th.
Enjoy!

Gunplay is iffy, doesnt feel good, the recoil animations are basically nonexistant and guns sound weak. But combat isnt bad, you can see bits and pieces of those drones breaking up when shot and falling down, also there are impact particle effects. I like the atmosphere and that it has scavenging like a post apocalyptic game should have and its not a scripted shooter.
Beggars cant be choosers, terminators fans should be glad they are getting this, look better than any other terminator game, of course that doesnt mean much but to me this game looks more interesting than modern warfare, borderlands 3, destiny 2 and wolfenstein 2.
Grabs flameshield
Come at me, i liked metro exodus but i wish it was set in a western setting and had robots, homefront the revolution looked like terminator but had horrible controls and infinite respawning enemies, this game seems to focus more on stealth and scavenging than combat and i missed the hollywood style scripting we had before the ubisoft open world or looter shooter trend took over.
Also look a attractive woman in a game made in the west…wow.
The flip-flop continuity of this destroyed franchise, is enough to make your head explode.
My god, stick a fork in “Terminator” already. It’s done.
Literally looks and plays like a decade old game!
The movies, the games…this franchise is fu*ked!
games were better a decade ago. So i dont care how iooks.
Yeah I don’t get people complaining about something playing like an old game. We still have people making new Quake style games, even with retro graphics. There’s an audience for every type of gameplay now.

“the iconic films from James Cameron, ‘THE TERMINATOR’ and ‘T2: JUDGMENT DAY’”
Which is in complete contrast to Cameron’s latest movie Wahminator featuring LGBT-1000!
That’s not Camerons film, he just put a producer stamp on it hoping to make a few bucks he can use to fund Avatar 2 through 65.
Fair point
Yes, he doesnt worked on the scenario. Studio used his name deliberately to get more credit while in fact his creative involvement was very mild at best.
When i saw the poster for that movie i thought it was a parody.
There are only two Terminator movies.
Salvation was good. (And T3 has been growing on me.)
This game may turn out to be mediocre at best – but they do get the atmosphere of those T1/T2 future scenes right.
