IGN has shared a new video, showing 11 minutes of gameplay footage from the Gamescom 2018 build of Call of Cthulhu. Call of Cthulhu is the official videogame inspired by Chaosium’s classic pen and paper RPG, brings you deep into a world of creeping madness and shrouded Old Gods within Lovecraft’s iconic universe.
In Call of Cthulhu players assume the role of private investigator Edward Pierce who is sent to investigate the tragic death of the Hawkins family in their imposing mansion on the isolated Darkwater Island, off the shores of Boston.
The game is currently planned for an October 30th release.
Enjoy!

This looks so much more interesting than the Sinking City alpha game footage, and it seems to actually be a true to form recreation of the P&P CoC game. I’ll wait for a sale for Sinking, but this i will strongly consider buying if it rums well and gets good reviews and isn’t a disaster.
No it doesnt. its a walking sim with puzzles doesnt have any reality altering stuff.
You pretty much have a brain injury in terms of the things you like, so your opinion means nothing to me. Plus this is entirely subjective. I like this game better, Sinking City looks like garbage.
We need more games that take place in tiny, enclosed spaces with little to no action. A game that tests your patience.
Which isn’t what the Cthulhu Mythos is supposed to be about, sorry that you and other people don’t understand that apparently; you must never have played the P&P game if you think action shooting horsesh-t is supposed to be in the game. A Detective and Puzzle game is far more in line with what it’s supposed to be about, especially one that actually has the stats from the game.
