    1. Technically like so many other terms, it’s being misused, as far as I’m aware;

      Bungie originally coined it for use with their “The Making of Halo [X] Video-Documentary” series as far as I’m aware, so using it here is really just wrong, but I suppose nobody cares >.>

      Footnote: The videos are still up on Bungie’s YouTube channel, if anyone’s curious. The Halo 2 one especially, provides great insight into everything that went wrong behind-the-scenes during development, etc.

  1. Weird to see DSOG covering games that aren’t even coming to PC; first RDR2 – which of course will get a late port – but now this as well.

          1. Yet the storefront and the games on it go against everything which make the PC platform what it is:

            -Weird proprietary file format meant for mobile apps
            -Draconic “patching” system that re-downloads entire games instead
            -Always online DRM for the latest batch of games on there
            -Prices far above even console retail ones
            -Doesn’t seem to allow DX11 versions of games that do have them
            -The two games that do only have DX11 versions, can still only be gotten on W10

            So if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck… it obviously isn’t a PC storefront.

            In fact, the new online requirement makes it more like an Xbox guest console that you happen to be logged in on instead.
