Gearbox has just released a teaser trailer for its new Borderlands game. Although this teaser does not show much, Gearbox has re-confirmed that this Borderlands game, which is most likely Borderlands 3, will be officially revealed tomorrow at 11am PDT / 2pm EDT.
Some rumours surfaced earlier today about Borderlands 3 that we won’t be sharing as we could not confirm them (these rumours first saw the light of day in December 2018). They could be true, however, and since the game will be officially revealed tomorrow, there is no point at all sharing them.
Borderlands 3 was first showcased via a tech demo at GDC 2017. The game will be powered by Unreal Engine 4 and Gearbox has been working on it since then.
But anyway, enjoy the teaser trailer below and stay tuned for more!

All I want is a Brothers in Arms RTH 30 remake
All I want is un-play Hell’s Highway…
And I just started with a friend The Pre-Sequel
How is the game so far?
It’s more Borderlands 2 basically. I do like the improved movement options available. Riffles seem to be as useless as in BL2. I’m having fun.
Gearbox studio is not the same as 5 years ago hope I’m wrong because i want this game soo bad
Randy Pitchford is still the same used car salesman, he’s on the board of Fig (the scam platform created by Schafer).
EGS exclusive and possibly battle-royale like game.
Like all borderlands, but back then i didn’t care and it wasn’t even a thing.
I’m not sure what you’re saying is true, i remember the same amount of stuff on the first borderlands too, it just was fine and understandable back then, even cause the game was great.
Probally exclusive epic store. lol
Will all you still get this if it truly is a EGS exclusive? I feel They may be sneaky about this and bundle with GPU’s so people have no choice but to activate through EGS.
Not spending a penny within the Epic store due to exclusives. I bought a VPN instead.
Epic, make piracy great again!
They could release the 2nd coming on EGS and I still wouldn’t. So, NoOoOoO
Edit:
My 3 all time favorite gaming franchises are The Witcher, Mass Effect & Shadow Warrior. Even if those were released on their as future titles I still wouldn’t touch that store. Nowadays, I’m mostly GoG or nothing. I only mess with steam for my odd title or so. Because I like to own WTF I paid for. Steam, Origins, Uplay & Epic Store are all one in the same. Just DRM in a different coat of paint. To me there isn’t anything inherently different between all of them. Those clients aims to take power out of the consumers hands. I work 70-85hr weeks sometimes, therefore I’m more touchy on where I unload my cash.
And rightly so. Wise words my friend.
I think I am looking forward to this. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel was a bit of a let down. Music in this teaser seems a bit off.
This will for sure be another “Epic Store Hostage”. If anyone was to take the deal, it would definitely be GreedBox Software.
Doubt they’ll risk full profits given their last ~2 endeavours failed spectacularly: Colonial Marines and Battleborne
Randy’s been shilling for the Epic Store on Twitter, so…
Oh well. We’ll see it on Steam in 2020 then.
So you’d think, but basicly what’s happening is that Epic is giving a sh*t load of money upfront, so it doesn’t matter if the game fails or not, they will still break even regardless. Why do you think everyone has been jumping ship to epic store for the most part. Timothy Sweeney has a never ending printing press of money via Fortnite and they are just throwing it at publishers.
And… because of those past failures that you mentioned is exactly why GreedBox would take the exclusive deal. They only gain here, no losses. Its never been about gamers playing their games it’s about the money. If they could make a game and have less people or no one play it and still get paid, they wouldn’t care either way.
100% Faglets and minorities and interracial couples.
In reality it will probably be another great game that you’re all salty about.
Finally, a proper looter shooter with actual content and story and actually fun art and design. Let’s just hope it doesn’t turn into a GaaS before launch.
ok
pls dont F this up
Totally ^^^. My hype level is at 1000! If this goes south things could become fatal, not sure I would recover.
Don’t care what store it comes out on, not buying it ever. Borderlands is overrated.
Overrated? The only thing overrated is your inflated ego.
Yup, rather have an inflated Ego than one that allows me to open my mouth wide while Randh Pitchford shoved heaps of sh*t into my mouth willingly.
Enjoy it like the good boy you are.
someone has mentioned that the morse code is saying count the sirens. i’m guessing there are three sirens in the trailer.
I would not be surprised if it ends up on the Epic Lame Store
Now that they saw how Anthem failed, they will do exactly the same thing Bioware did with Anthem. Online only, some lesbo LMNOP+ characters and Epic exclusive, microtransactions, loot boxes and (don’t like it don’t buy it song with Randy’s voice and Randy’s guitar in an emptry theater) just to make things a little more exciting.
I’ll be surprised if this isn’t GaaS’d to sht. Pitchford has lied in the past a ton and has obviously been watching the “loot-centric” live service market closely. On top of that they already sold out to Epic so I’m not holding my breath for this one to be anything else but a monetized mess.
AAA has hurt the industry so much that I am a pretty much a pessimist about it and skeptical until proven otherwise. It’s sad that I am genuinely surprised when they sell high qualiy games full of content at a flat price. I love the hobby, so I hang in there.
