I’mmmmmm old, I get it :/
Grim Fandango was apparently a classic. After I played it; all I could think was overrated. The story is charming enough though felt very light on dialogues, but most puzzle logic was rtarded. In the end it was just ‘ok’ to me.
This looks like it has some interesting writing and characters, but I am finding it quite hard to bring up the motivation to actually play. Another overrated? or is it worth the arduous task i.e playing a badly designed adventure game!
If you don’t like Monkey Island, then this game is not for you. Here the story plays the most important role.
I said Grim Fandango, not Monkey Island.
I’m talking about Full Throttle in the theme about Full Throttle . Nevermind
It’s more cult classic than overrated, since it never got the attention the other Lucasarts games did. The story’s simple, but it’s well executed and the characters are pretty likable. It’s pretty short compared to the other Lucasarts games and the puzzles are generally more common sense than other point-and-clicks, so you might have a better time playing it than Grim Fandango.
I’d recommend it at it’s sale price right now, but if you really don’t like the point and click stuff, then maybe watch it on youtube.
Such a great game. Brings back some really nice memories from my childhood. Recommended!
