Fortnite Chapter 3 Leaked Trailer gives us a glimpse at the Unreal Engine 5 version

A trailer for Fortnite Chapter 3 has been leaked online, giving us a glimpse at what its Unreal Engine  5 version will look like. This trailer features both cinematic and gameplay sequences. And while it’s of low quality, die-hard Fortnite fans may notice some of the improvements that UE5 brings to the table.

Fortnite is the first commercial game that will be running on Unreal Engine 5. As such, it will be interesting to see whether it will bring any performance improvements over the Unreal Engine 4 version.

Alongside UE5, Chapter 3 will introduce Spiderman. We can also see in this trailer some Gears of War characters. Moreover, players can expect a new island with new vehicles.

There is currently no ETA on when Fortnite’s Chapter 3 will launch.

  1. I actually love Fortnite.. because it keeps the people that like to play Fortnite out of the rest of the games i play.

    1. Overwatch inspired by Fortnite?
      Overwatch released 1 year before that sh*t, it’s visual design is based in animation movies like Pixar or Dreamworks ones.
      You’re a bunch of old-asses yelling at clouds, let kids play their sh*t and buy indie games like Blasphemous, that’s where the real sh*t is happening, ignore AAA bullsh*t.

    2. I don’t think single player games is dead but there is far more money to be made in multi-player games due to micro transactions. I recall people making fun of Horse Armor in ES Oblivion back in 2006 but now micro transactions accounts for more revenue for most AAA Publishers.

    1. I recall Tim Sweeney saying years ago that he refused to make another Unreal game. I don’t remember why but Fortnite is a huge success for Epic.
