Electronic Arts has released the first gameplay trailer for Need for Speed: Heat. Need for Speed Heat sends fans to Palm City; a brand-new open world where street racers have gathered to make their names known.
By day, players compete in the Speedhunters Showdown, a sanctioned competition where they earn Bank to customise and upgrade their garage of high-performance cars. At night, players risk it all to build their Rep in underground races where a rogue police task force roams the streets, ready to take racers down and swipe all their earnings.
Ghost Games has stated that the game will not have any loot boxes or microtransactions. However, there will be a time-save pack, which will show all collectables on the map.
Need for Speed: Heat will come out on November 8th.

Huh, crazy. How the heck did this go from “I don’t care.” to “I think I am going to get it, Man this looks rad!”? So there is no forced political agenda you make your own character how ever you want as well as customize you car how ever you want!
Where did anyone get that it had a female lead to begin with or a political agenda? I am still optimistic but it’s all in this video, it looks completely clean and neutral. Man.. I think I will be getting this. From the customization, offline mode, SP, open world, and no loot boxes makes this looks actually legit and old school under ground!

If you want to make your warps and stuff early, you can and import into Heat .
It’s actually quite useful if you have enough courage to play the game.

Looks.. Surprisingly OK. Not bad. Glad they back to it’s roots, the Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted kind of days. And so glad it’s not female protagonist only as the rumor said. But we’ll see, it’s EA. All of their franchises and games are doomed to be dead by greed.
I kinda liked the gameplay but for racing games gameplay is all about “how it feels” can’t feel that in a video so i’ll Wait for a beta/demo then a 50% discount :O
Not a fan of going through a palm tree with no visible damage and barely any slow-down. Real palm trees of that thickness stop sports cars instantly. I know they can’t do destruction because the car manufacturers won’t allow it on their licensed models. Dumb move by the car companies but nothing the devs can do about it and NFS fans expect real cars. But hitting a palm tree, let alone two in a row, should still result in your car coming to a stand still and after spinning like crazy. The tree should stay intact. It’s a fictional city, they can’t say “but we need palm trees in the middle of this road for realism”.
