First gameplay footage surfaces for Project CARS 3

Earlier this week, Slightly Mad Studios officially revealed Project CARS 3. And yesterday, YouTube’s Austin Ogonoski and GameRiot shared the first gameplay footage from it. These gameplay videos will give you an idea of what you can expect from this new racing game, so be sure to watch it.

Project CARS 3 will feature over 200 elite-brand race and road cars, as well as over 140 global tracks. The game will feature new game modes, as well as a Career/Journey Mode.

Players will be able to customize their cars’ liveries, personalize their drivers, and upgrade their cars with realistic performance parts. The game will have fully scalable assists for all skill levels, and will come with a new tyre model (for more convincing and fun handling).

Furthermore, Project CARS 3 will have a 24-hour cycle, dynamic all-seasons and all-weather racing. The game also promises to have intense crash effects and authentic car contact. Additionally, players can expect enhanced AI. Lastly, Project CARS 3 will have 12K textures and VR support at launch on the PC.

Slightly Mad Studios plans to release Project CARS 3 later this Summer.

Enjoy!

  1. doesn’t look to shabby. after playing FH 4 though i’m kinda done with circuit racing.
    more derivable territory suits me.

    1. FM7 is really good. It never seems to go on sale on PC though…
      It’s still like 40 bucks.

  2. its way too colorful not just the graphics but even the hud elements almost felt like an asphalt game, they should have gone with gran turismo sport color palette its closer to realism

  3. What a step down even from previous games which were mediocre. It looks like mobile game or grid . The sound quality of music, tyres and cars is so poor.

  4. I hate circuit racing games since Need for Speed: Shift came out and I don’t buy them at all. They are just boring as f#ck ????

    1. I actual prefer curcuit racing games. They require you to memorize the track down to tiny details to get the best times. Open world games require no real skill to me. They let you plow through everything and the physics are so relaxed you’re really not even simulating driving a car anymore. Can’t recall the last time I lost a race in one :/

  5. 2:46, the crowd is facing the wrong way 😀
But, other than that, looks like a good time to me. The motion blur is a little heavy but the gameplay looks fun, even if a little arcadey, which I’m O.K.
I’ll hold off and see what they do with the career mode, as other games have been lacking in lately.
