Shacknews has shared a video, showing the first gameplay footage from SEGA’s upcoming Sonic racing game, Team Sonic Racing. Team Sonic Racing promises to combine the best elements of arcade and fast-paced competitive style racing as you face-off with friends in intense multiplayer racing.
In Team Sonic Racing, players will take control of their racing style as they can choose from 3 distinct character types and unlock game changing vehicle customization options to suit their racing style.
The game will feature online multiplayer & local co-op modes with up to 12 players per race, 4 player split screen, and various offline / online race modes including Grand Prix Mode, Exhibition Mode, Time-Trial and Team Adventure Mode. The game will also feature an adventure mode which promises to be a unique story experience where players are introduced to basic game features and character.

Looks great, and a carbon copy of Mario Kart 8 which is great for people who don’t own a Switch or Wii U.
That said, I’d rather a Sonic all Stars Racing Transformed DELUXE version.. it looks way better than this.
It looks just bit dated, but then again, it’s designed to work on the Switch, rather than designed for what a PC and X1X can do.
meh. the best part of the last one was it had sonics characters as well as all kinds of sega mascots…. this is just a dumbed down version.
