Square Enix has released a new beautiful trailer for Final Fantasy XV, showcasing some new NPCs and some of the cities that will be featured in this new Final Fantasy game. While there is still no official word about a PC version, our guess is that FF XV will eventually find its way to our platform. And since we strongly believe that both MGS and FF should be enjoyed with their Japanese voices, we’ve decided to include only its latest Japanese trailer (though we’d appreciate if there were actual subtitles too). Not my type of game and it does not look impressive at all, you can find dozens of MMOs that have better visuals than this, almost everything is low res, no AA at all, not even FXAA and the art is overdone, over-stylized. overrated. Every character looks the same despite having different hair, clothing, gender etc. I don’t see any reason to get excited over this unless you are a blind Final Fantasy fanboy. Even the car design they are riding in, looks like its stolen from Audi.

“Dozens” of MMOs that have better visuals ? Now I’m not an MMO fan so I have played only a few modern ones so there may be MMOs that looks better than the current build of FF but “dozens?”. And it’s still a work in progress so they may have just not added AA yet

Car design is stolen ? well, they designed it as a modern “car.” So a “car”… will look like a “car.”

I lost all hope of me ever enjoying another FF game after FFX. I suppose this one cant be as bad as FFXIII was though.
This will be 100 times better than FFXIII. Heck most FF games is better than that garbage FFXIII trilogy.

Japan are heavily dominated by consoles with the likes of Sony & Nintendo. Japanese publishers usually favors consoles over PC first. So there’s nothing we can do honestly.

All I want from S/E is a real PC version with real PC performance scaling from low settings to ultra and 1080p to 4k options….. I mean come on… If Konami can do it… S/E should have no freaking problem…

I don’t know if anyone else feels the same, but for me, FF lost its identity since SE started the japanization of the characters in their games. Surely its a JRPG, but all FF characters before FF8 were not eastern-like. Nowadays, every f@#$king FF game is about almost all japanese-like chars and looks boring.
Since SE involvement in the new Tomb Rider, they regained my respect. Hope not become disappointed with this one.
