  1. why?! i mean ignite worked well for this game and it ran well on low end hardware moving to frostbite seems pointless for this kind of game

    1. They have no new features to introduce. Those are games about a sport which is virtually the same throughout many decades.

What do we do now if we want to sell our football game? Pretend that we have changed something. Bingo! Let’s take a new engine (which is ours so it’s all for free) and say it’s revolutionary or something.

    2. “Because it’s cheaper to support one Engine across all our Studios, than multiple Engines.” – EA.

  2. Some would conclude that a 0-0 tie was a masterful gruelfest between two immaculate defenses. I on the other hand would conclude it an afternoon nap.

      1. yeah american handballs, like whatever sport you called them… mostly being played with hands…

  3. The ignite engine was fine. It looked good and it ran well. Im sure they could of made it even better.. oh well.

I love FB3 so whatever. It still feels kind of pointless tho.

  4. The only recognizable in-engine footage is ONE face with a blurred background? It didn’t even look impressive next to other contemporary games’ faces. And you won’t see the players’ during gameplay any way. Might as well focus on shoelace physics.
