Bethesda has released a live action trailer for Fallout 4. Bethesda has nailed the atmosphere of the game, and this live action trailer looks glorious. Now if only the actual game looked as good as this live action trailer. Yes yes, obviously we’re daydreaming as games won’t feature this kind of visuals in the foreseeable future, but still. Now “imagine” a FO game having this kind of graphical fidelity (CGI part). Imagine it coz it’s probably the only place where it’ll come true XD
Take out the consoles, develop it TRULY for the PC and there you have it.

Maybe Fallout 5 will look like this in 6-7 years, only in VR. That would be one of my dream games.

Christ, no. Not console. PC. As for the VR hardware, who knows what we’ll have then? I’ve been reading articles that are quoting Nvidia, Epic Games and others that VR headsets will double in power every year. I’ll be buying new Rifts and Vives yearly, for f’s sake.

Its all about the lighting. Metal Gear prove it that its possible to come close.
