Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have released a new gameplay trailer for Evil Dead: The Game. This new trailer showcases the new Kandarian Demon, and is being narrated by Bruce Campbell himself.
Evil Dead The Game is a PVP multiplayer game. In it, players will step into the shoes of Ash Williams or his friends from the iconic Evil Dead franchise.
As its description reads:
“Play as a team of four survivors, exploring, looting, managing your fear, and finding key items to seal the breach between worlds in a game inspired by all three original Evil Dead films as well as the Starz original Ash vs Evil Dead television series.
Fight for the forces of good or take control of the powerful Kandarian Demon to hunt Ash and other players while possessing Deadites, the environment, and even the survivors themselves as you seek to swallow their souls!”
The game will now release on May 13th.

I’ve recently finished a rewatch of the original film trilogy and Ash vs. Evil Dead series, they were marvellous fun. It’s a real shame that they’re doing a MP game rather than some sort SP campaign-based affair. This is going to be DOA, nobody is going to play it due to it being a Epic exclusive.

When they say SP for an obviously MP centric game they usually just mean MP matches with bots (especially applicable to pseudo-indie games like this one). F that noise, I want a crafted story-centric experience.
