Battlestate Games has released a new video, showcasing random moments from its internal Escape from Tarkov alpha sessions. Escape from Tarkov is powered by the Unity 5 Engine and will be a story-driven MMO game. According to the team, everything happening in the game will be determined by the story of either main chain of events or by numerous side quests. Enjoy!

It looks like what STALKER should have evolved into by 2012. However the guy shooting at a window and the glass not shattering with pieces flying all over the place. Thats not acceptable in a 2016 game.

No because for one start you don’t know what is finished and what is not ,criticizing an alpha is beyond stupid plus it’s constantly changing.
So by your logic opinion on a game that hasn’t been released yet arent neccesary because we don’t know everything about the final product. That sounds more stupid. If what you say is true the game developers are best not releasing any footage of their game until release. So that way no one can critique it unfairly because they weren’t in on the development process. When you’re in the middle of cooking and you ask your Mrs to taste it so far do you tell them to hold their judgement because this isn’t the final product or do you just want to know their opinion NOW so you have a guide that your on the right track.
Again you prove low skills in the interpretation of others. He said “criticizing an alpha is beyond stupid” What he did NOT say was “pointing out flaws/bugs in the alpha build is beyond stupid” See it’s not the same thing good lad.

Thanks for clarifying my good friend although your comment did leave a lot of room to interpreration due to its brief nature. So what you have a problem with is not what he critiqued but how he critiqued it? OK. Doesn’t make him wrong though.
Saying that a bug is unacceptable when looking at alpha footage it beyond stupid in my opinion. Furthermore your comment was 100% superfluous. How you got my original post to look like a complaint towards him pointing out a bug is simply beyond me. Good day!
If you disagree with someone its probably in your best interest to stipulate what you have a problem with in said comment, especially now you’re back peddling saying the first part is OK just not the second. I didnt get your OP to look like anything other than its brief nature would allow. I hope you direct this same amount of passion to those praising how the game looks and plays seeing as it’s an alpha and they have no idea what the final product will look or play like due to it constantly changing 😉
It was never about disagreeing. I only enlightened him, so did three others alongside me. I can’t take responsibility for your disability to interpret others in correct ways. Your contribution was but a superfluous comment directed towards me, you failed to recognize the reason why me and others pointed out that the build was under alpha. Because thinking that the person was unaware of its alpha status was the first and only conclusion there was to draw.
I don’t act in passionate ways when others are praising or enjoying something, no matter at what stage it is currently at. But when someone acts stupid or spreads incorrect information then I open my mouth in brilliant ways.

As you can see from my original comment I remain respectful while putting forth an opinion to be discussed so we can all gain more understanding of each other’s views. You on the other hand have been nothing but sarcastic and disrespectful from the get go. You have an amazing skill of attacking others for what they say while at the same time ignoring your own words.
Yeah, you were respectful and calm to begin with. But your initial comment were superfluous and didn’t contribute anything discussworthy which I pointed out, you just tried to tell me things that were obvious and failed to understand the reason why I commented as I did in the first place. But you couldn’t keep that calm when I started to give you arguments on why he made such a big mistake when he criticized the alpha build. MMO ? flashy 3m swords swung by diverse cartoon characters, so this one abbreviation shouldn’t put you off.
The game isn’t screaming “ARCADE!” like many of MMOs, it doesn’t have zombies, it’s supposed to be realistic, which will make it unique.

Every time someone complains over “online only” I think this to myself:
“Dry your tears son, it’s time for you to upgrade your connection, things like broadbands with limited data, or slow 2mbit ADSL connections are unacceptable 2016” Or if you’re one of those who lives like a hillbilly in the forest without connection, it’s time to move or looks elsewhere buddy. It’s like when people sitting on Geforce 570’s or 670 complaining over games being too demanding, calling them unoptimized and stuff. It’s laughable.
