Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition Gets Gameplay Trailer

Capcom has released a gameplay trailer from the Special Edition of Devil May Cry 4 that is currently planned for a June 23rd release. This special edition adds three new playable characters (Vergil, Trish and Lady) and includes the Legendary Dark Knight Mode (that was already available on the PC version of the original Devil May Cry 4 PC). In addition, it will also sport upscaled textures, bonus costumes and skins, as well as various tweaks and balance fixes. Enjoy!

  1. i still don’t get it. DMC 4 either sold very bad or very good on PC that made them do this.

Thanks DSO for covering these stuff though.

    1. Usually very bad since most of these get sold at 75-80% off, and even then nobody wants them or plays them. DMC and Castlevania games are more for consoles than PC.

      1. I actually believe that the biggest sales problem was that for you to enjoy playing with Dante, you first have to do the same bosses with the insufferable Nero.

Imagine that, playing with what most consider filler, to later play with Dante….. in the same scenarios. A bit poorly thought, in my opinion.

        1. that is probably true i didn’t even finish DMC 4. i played a little with Nero and he was way too overpowered, then just quit the game and watched all the cutscenes on Youtube.

      2. well if they are not delayed on PC i assume they will sell enough. i mean DmC (the reboot) probably sold a good amount on PC.
