Deep Silver revealed today the first gameplay trailer for Dead Island 2, the next installment in the multi-million-selling Dead Island franchise. Furthermore, the publisher has released the first in-game screenshots from it. The video shows Pre-Alpha in-game footage and gives a first impression on how the game looks like. Dead Island 2 is coming Spring 2015 from development studio YAGER for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Enjoy!

I enjoyed the DI series even as broken as they were. Co-op with friends is always the best for me. I look forward to this one as well. Until someone can do it better I am content with what they put out. What choice do I have?

Looks good to me, seems much better than 1 and riptide’s Chrome 5 Engine( blood particles on weapons were bad) but don’t see how they can call this Dead Island …if it’s not on an Island?
so Dead Island 2 is basically Dying Light (which is Dead Island) with 60’s 70’s like setting and less darker than original one and dying light ? and both coming spring of 2015
yeah i was thinking dying light was the sequel to Dead Island. Then this comes out soon after
The original DI was developed by Techland and published by Deep Silver.
Techland separated from Deep Silver as they were not fulfilling their goals with them and as an original and more mature story, they created Dying Light which looks awesome!….To me, the DI saga is dead without the original creators and Deep Silver just ruined a good story making it look like dead rising or some other crap like that.

Looks like a good use of the Unreal Engine 4, they just need to work on the animations some more.
