Here are Dante’s Inferno, Resogun, Daytona USA & Skate 3 running on the Playstation 3 emulator, RPCS3

YouTube’s ‘reznoire’ has shared some new videos, showing Dante’s Inferno, Resogun, Daytona USA and Skate 3 running on the best emulator for Playstation 3, RPC3. As you will see, these games are not perfectly emulated yet, however they can be considered playable.

Dante’s Inferno is a God of War clone, whereas Resogun is a side-scrolling space shooter. On the other hand, Daytona USA is a the classic racing game that was re-released on old-gen consoles and Skate 3… well… we all know Skate 3.

All these four games are exclusive to consoles and the only way to play them is via emulation. And since the team behind RPCS3 is doing a phenomenal work, we are pretty sure that these games will be fully playable by the end of 2017.

Enjoy!

  1. i’ve always wondered why EA never ported Skate to PC
it literally was the best skateboarding franchise ever made

  2. Been wanting to play Dante’s Inferno forever, there was a psp version you can emulate but it was poor performing and looking. Glad to see this emulator finally picking up steam.

Protip for any that want to play a Resogun type game native to pc, Def check out Nex Machina. It is actually by the same director and has really nice particle voxel effects to match fun gameplay.

    1. “Been waiting to play Dante’s Inferno forever”
Is waiting years to play a terrible emulated version better than just spending $50 on a used PS3 ?

      1. The hope would be that with time the emulated version would become superior with development of the emulator.
Take a look at both Dolphin and CEMU both allow the playing of Wii and Wii U games with smoother framerate, higher resolutions and for some even with 4k custom textures.
Emulators may start out rough but if they are worked on they become better than the thing they are emulating

    1. It’s exactly what it is, just with another theme/plot/skin, same beat’em all mecanics with no free camera, same level design technics, and a fluid undulating primary weapon to make the character easily hitting all the surrounding enemies, even Visceral were aware of that, they hired the guy who worked on the lvl design of the 1st GoW at Santa Monica Studios, but i have to agree that it has a strong identity and atmosphere, i enjoyed the game very lot

    1. considering how naughty dog is ICE team, aka the ones who have the best knowledge on the playstation hardware and the engine, a very very long time. They got all the tricks they use alot of tricks to get their games to look good on playstation.

  3. Having recently tried the free trial of PS Now I can safely say that’s not a valid way of playing games, the 30fps cap alone is bad enough for the input lag but add the network latency on top of it and I was at about 300ms lag trying to play RDR. Emulators are the only hope
