It looks like CD Projekt Red is putting a lot into the music of their upcoming title. Cyberpunk 2077 will feature several artists like Run the Jewels, Refused, Asap Rocky, Gazelle Twin, Ilan Rubin and more.
“We wanna provide you with the soundtrack to fucking-shit-up.” RTJ
The soundtrack will be influenced by ambient, industrial, punk rock, electronic, really rugged, rough, edgy, psychedelic, trippy, yet uplifting and engaging sound, according to the artists.
“It’s quite rebellious, and it’s quite noise and aggressive.” GT
Music Director Marcin Przybylowicz says this is just a glimpse of what they have in store for us.

I remember kanye west following this game on twitter, people assumed that his “musical genius” will be in the game along with lady gaga, but i guess they dropped him when he came out as a conservative christian. I like Grimes music (specially her first two albums)…but it doesnt fit at all with Cyberpunk. Nothing else to say for the rest, it “sounds” like a serious mistake for me.
