Crytek has released a new 360° video for its upcoming VR game, The Climb. In this video, players can click on the arrows in the video’s upper left hand corner or drag the cursor across the screen and check out the full panorama of our Alps setting as the camera rises through a game world stretching across 100 km of virtual space.
“Mountains tower over a serene lake, eagles soar over a fairy-tale castle, and wingsuit daredevils fly past cable cars – which you’ll get to climb across in the game – as you control the camera direction and explore Alps.”
Enjoy!

very impressive graphics
Not bad when you use the 360 degree option, pretty boring game though.
Wowowow, too bad it lags in Firefox.. And why the hell are every 360 video blurry and seem lowres? Even in 1440 or higher resolution 🙁 Gonna try maxthon brb!
Edit 1: Ok in Maxthon moving around doesn’t lag, but the video stutters bad in 4K 🙁 In Firefox it barely doesn’t stutter rending 4K, but moving around is really jerky. WTF.. Ok off to try Chrome! brb!
Edit 2: Chrome got the job done. Amazing presentation and gorgeous visuals. Just wish the video would be sharper though, 4K doesn’t cut it lol. And am even on a 4K monitor.
