  1. I wont be buying the new modern warfare on Pc not at £60 quid the previous was £50 now there just jumping on the band wagon now console games are £70 if it had designated servers i would ill wait for a sale.

        1. It was supposed to have one but Treyarch did not have enough time due to having to make the game for 5 completely different platforms.

          PS2, Xbox, Wii, 360 and PS3.

          1. I don’t buy that at all. The higher the number of ports, the higher the likelyhood of having a PC port. World at War was also ported to 6 platforms (PC included).

          2. Treyarch worked alone on 5 versions of COD3and every single platform had different architectures to develop and release the game in a year while crunching like crazy and Activision would rather prioritize the console versions for higher sales (which didn’t happen lol), it was an achievement in itself.
Comparing it to World at War is also disingenuous because Treyarch only worked on the PC/PS3/Xbox 360 versions of the game, while Final Fronts was PS2 only and worked on by a completely different developer.

          3. I’m not blaming the devs, Activision could outsource some ports and release a PC version if they wanted, i just find bizarre that they (whoever makes decisions) didn’t.

          4. I doubt they care at this point, most people pretend everything before 4 doesn’t even exist.

          5. Maybe, but COD 1 and 2 is way more popular than COD 3 for a reason, i even played COD 2 this year with some mods like Back2Fronts and Spanish Civil War. And they still make WW2 themed shooters, albeit way more trashy than the classics.

          6. My issue with Back2Fronts is how MGs and PanzerShreks can completely annihilate your a*s and the last can be hard to spot.
There’s a 1.1 patch that’s supposed to come out this month.
But yeah, COD3 has better writing but the gameplay was all over the place, I think the only improvement it had was adding a trenchgun which is really fun to use.

          7. Treyarch worked alone of COD3 on 5 different platforms with completely different architectures in a single year.
World at War was worked solely by them in 2 years while the PS2 version, Final Fronts, was developed by a completely different developer.

  2. If any one calls these games the best shooters never played the old Call of Duty games Original modern Warfare And World at War make your own maps choose your servers no Micro transactions free dlc’s dedicated servers pin point accuracy no missed shots no lag on world at war as soon as you pushed the fire button you knew you had it the target before you heard it now this is ho games used to be made not based on ripping each and every one off fore profit.

  3. Same old bland as sht film grainny washed out muted color pallete with minimal to no bloom or HDR effects. Gears of War 2 looked better than this garbage, which is now more in line with a mobile game. Rehashed, reskinned, recycled trash!
