Battlefield 6 gets an official cinematic in-engine trailer

Electronic Arts has officially revealed the next BF game, Battlefield 6, with a cinematic in-engine trailer. Moreover, the publisher revealed that it will unveil the game’s multiplayer on June 31st.

Now, as with most in-engine cinematic trailers, this one has assets from the game. So, in a way, you can get an idea of what it may look like on a high-end PC. I’m not saying it will look exactly like that. The lighting may get downgraded. Still, this is better than a CG trailer.

The game’s official description states that players will gear up for the ultimate action-packed war experience. You’ll fight in fast, intense ground battles. You can also fly jets in crazy air fights. Blow up buildings and objects around you to gain an edge. With tanks, fighter jets, and tons of powerful weapons, your team is your strongest weapon.

And that’s that. EA has not shared any additional details. We also don’t have a release date (though I’m certain we’re looking at a late 2025 release).

Battlefield 6 will be using the Frostbite Engine. From what we’ve seen in its Closed Alpha Phase, the game will put a lot of emphasis on destruction. In a way, it BF6 is close to the old BF games, like Battlefield 3 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2. So, this should please a lot of old BF fans.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
