Ubisoft has just unveiled – during Microsoft’s Gamescom 2014 press conference – a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Unity. Assassin’s Creed: Unity looks great and is currently planned for an October 28th release. Let’s hope that the PC version will be better optimized than its predecessor. Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. As much as I like the look of this, it’s this going to have the dumbed down Ubisoft mechanics to it, which make the game so easy. I wish it was more real, like Tomb Raider used to be, proper timed jumps rather than easy press up to climb without fear of falling at all. With AC there is just no sense of making a mistake while on top of a high place, it’s like a scripted jump.
Tomb Raider 2013 had the same issue to the point where you could see Lara grab something that wasn’t there, and grabbed it anyway because the mechanics are so dumbed down
I can see major performance issues incoming.
Hopes are down for better PC Optimization…
