Bethesda and Arkane have released a brand new official gameplay trailer for their upcoming title, Redfall. As with the previous trailer, this one features pre-alpha gameplay footage, which means that it does not represent the quality of the final product.
Redfall is an open-world co-op FPS that aims to bring Arkane’s signature gameplay to the co-operative action and FPS genres.
The game promises to blend single- and multiplayer options seamlessly. Additionally, it will allow the player to venture into the darkness alone or to squad-up with up to three friends. Teammates will also be able to try different hero loadouts. Moreover, they can combine their strengths to overcome the vampire legion and their brood of maniacal followers.
Redfall will release in 2023.

Those front cover pictures are sickening.. A propaganda. Two female front of the males. What are they trying to prove? woman powar?? another sellout.
I saw them posting raninbow puke stuff at the end of pride month. When your last 3 games have flopped in sales you know what the problem is.
The chief of security is some black israeli woman too, most major characters are puke inducing sjw archetypes, the only white man is the obese guy and even then he is mixed race hapa.
The brown males are bad enough, then they put the only white character as a vampire monster.

This thing is scheduled for release by Q2 2023. That’s less than a year now. That’s pretty quick to go from pre-alpha, to full release.

Agreed, one thing i don’t understand in that game is why the protag brother is fat, considering the scifi technology they had. You could become stronger or a better singer with just an injection, so why he was still fat?
I wouldn’t mind it if the designs were cool or at least interesting, but they just go for the most stereotypical they can imagine, exactly like in Deathloop.

I think Arkane’s last white main protagonist was Corvo from Dishonored (and a silent protag from what i remember), everyone after that is mixed race, female, indian or black (and they normally puts the low IQ races as the engineers and scientists). Also in Prey whites are disproportionately relegated to lower class, villains and criminals.
True, they were limited by the 60s aesthetics wise, so that gets a pass.
But this is just a “Buffy the vampire” knock off so there’s no reason for going to hairstyle afro 1 or generic latino 3.
And the people behind those designs are the same that complained about generic white soldier man for the covers in vidya of the early 2010s, im sure of it.
