Resident Evil 4 Remake will receive tomorrow its Mercenaries free mode. However, it appears that some users have already gotten access to it. Thus, you can find below over 30 minutes of gameplay footage from it.
In this mode, players will select a Resident Evil 4 character and attempt to kill as many enemies as possible within a given time limit. This mode will also have rankings with how well you do. And yes, players will be able to unlock new weapons.
According to early reports, both Ada Wong and Albert Wesker are not present in this mode. We also don’t know whether Capcom will add them later as paid DLC. And, to be honest, I wouldn’t be shocked by such a thing.
My guess is that tomorrow we might also get a new update for the game. I mean, it makes sense, right? So hopefully, Capcom will also include some performance improvements and bug fixes for the main game.
