HYENAS is an upcoming multiplayer sci-fi FPS from Creative Assembly. And it appears that someone has broken the game’s alpha NDA, and has shared twenty minutes of gameplay footage from it.
Since this video features alpha footage, it obviously does not reflect the quality of the final game. Still, it can give you an idea of what this new competitive FPS is about. It can also provide us with a first look at its art style, and gunplay mechanics.
In HYENAS, players will team up with their pack to steal priceless pop culture loot from the Mars billionaires and rival crews. Creative Assembly claimed that this won’t be a Battle Royale game, so I guess we’re looking at another hero shooter.
I expect SEGA and Creative Assembly to take this video down as soon as it catches their attention. Thus, make sure to watch it while it’s still up. I’ll be also sure to update this article with mirrors once, and if, the video goes down.

Do humans actually designs these levels or does AI just do it nowadays. Because that level design is so generic, emotionless and depressing.

And man, just look at the character selection screen, it’s taken directly from Overwatch, guaranteed “humans” didn’t make it, the AI did.
Today’s humans go on a course, get a certificate and then a job designing levels. Past humans skipped the course due to natural talent. AI is our only hope going forward.
