Ubisoft has released a 13 minutes walkthrough for Far Cry 3 in which Mark Thompson, lead level designer and Jamie Keen, Lead game designer, takes us on a trip into the game’s environments. In terms of visuals, this level looks really close to those that were featured in the first Far Cry game. Which is good for all fans of this series. Ubisoft has also released today the official multiplayer trailer for Assassin’s Creed 3. Assassin’s Creed 3’s MP will feature a variety of modes ranging from classic Deathmatch to co-op and team-based modes like Wolfpack and Domination. Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed III in which the company showcases Connor’s skill at wielding a variety of weapons, including his signature Tomahawk. In Assassin’s Creed III, players will be able to discover the brutal realities of warfare during the American Revolution and find out why the guerilla tactics used by the Americans would turn the tides of war. Ah, good old Ubisoft. A company that was well known for its amazing franchises, is now only a shadow of its former self. Back in August, the French company revealed that it will be focusing its efforts on the F2P model for its PC franchises. And although we are against it, we can acknowledge and respect its decision. During an investor conference call, that took place a couple of days ago, Ubisoft further explained its decision to move on to this model and claimed that this model could also benefit full priced triple-A games. Well, we all knew that the latest Splinter Cell game was not a stealth game. The E3 demo proved what most of us feared. Ubisoft attempted to streamline the experience and introduce a lot of action sequences in order to attract more gamers to it. Naturally, the French company tried to convince everyone that this was still the Splinter Cell game they knew and fell in love with. However, the company revealed at the Eurogamer Expo event that the franchise is no longer centered around its stealth roots. Ubisoft has also released a new trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist. According to its press release, a group of 12 have had enough and initiate a terror ultimatum called the Blacklist – a deadly countdown of escalating terrorist attacks on U.S. interests. Sam Fisher is the leader of the newly formed 4th Echelon unit: a clandestine unit that answers solely to the President of the United States. Sam and his team must hunt down these terrorists by any means necessary, and stop the Blacklist countdown before it reaches zero.
