AMD has just released a performance driver for their graphics cards as iD Software’s latest FPS game, RAGE, is out now to some countries. According to the release notes, this driver improves significantly the game’s performance on single GPU configurations. Following Nvidia’s example, AMD has just released the 11.10 preview version of their Catalyst drivers. This latest version is what all AMD owners and fans of DICE’s FPS were waiting for, as they mainly improve performance in Battlefield 3 Open Beta. It was about time. Although the gaming industry is literally stuck with current generation consoles, AMD (and supposedly Nvidia) still plans to release this year their next-generation graphics.
