    1. You can say many bad things about the series, but visuals are certainly not on the list. One of the most beautiful RPGs for its time.

      This is from 2006:

      1. You mean, aside from the fact that my screenshots are from Two Worlds (2006) and the article is about Two Worlds II (2011)?

        1. Everything about Reality Pump and Topware is concerning. Raven’s Cry is a double disaster, and Sacrilegium (which was in development for 3+ years) is nowhere to be seen.

I just wanted to say that TW games looked good on release (main menu with the sunny landscape is from TW1), but this visual upgrade looks more like another PS4 re-release, and TW3 may be as bad as Raven’s Cry.

  1. That’s cool, and new dlc coming too in prep for Two Worlds III. I might have to give it a go its under $3 on steam right now so no great investment.

Any one w/ experience can summarize what this game is about? I know its nominally an RPG, but how does it play? Like Dragon Age or more turn based like Divinity? How is the leveling system? All I’ve really heard was it was much better than the original

      1. I couldn’t play any of the risen gamse for more than 10 minutes cumulative. I got at least 30 hours out of Two Worlds II.

    1. story and voice acting is a disaster, keep in mind that two worlds 2 is made by the same studio as raven cry, it’s much better than raven’s cry though

  2. Well lighting makes an awesome difference and all. But speaking for myself, it wasn’t the graphics that hurt hte game, it was the devs in MP abusing their bans, MP being garbage to begin with. Single player front the map and terrain was atrocious, getting stuck on horses like no other. Hard to believe the game was from 2006 though.

  3. Is this a free patch for the PC version or are they planning on releasing it on the PS4/XB1 like a enhanced edition?

  4. What does this Arkham Knight bullshot has to do with RPGs from 2006 and 2011 respectively? Both games looked very good when they came out.

  5. Dude, you’re trying to compare a 2015 game to one 6 years its senior. That makes virtually ZERO sense. If you want to compare it to something, first, compare it to a game one the same system with the same capabilities (I.E. not PS3 to PS4 like you did here with Batman).

But another RPG on said system. So either Kingdoms of Amalur, Dragon Age, Dragons Dogma, Final Fantasy XIII etc.
