Square Enix released today some new screenshots for Triad Wars; the upcoming free-to-play MMO standalone game based on Sleeping Dogs’ universe. And surprisingly enough, it looks pretty good. While these images have obviously been downsampled, they display visuals that are not THAT dated, especially if we take into account the game’s F2P nature. Enjoy!

oh not really a incedent, but you know how darksiders was a good game, but didnt sell well.
So they made darksiders 2 with a bigger budget and resources, still didnt sell well, and gamne got sold to another company?

darksiders 2 was too padded out and grindy. The developers said they try to bring life to a dying genre and it costed 50 million. The new owner says that they can deliever the same results without having to spend 50 milion.
Its sad really, all we get is cod, creed, halo, far cry and new stuff dont sell.
Hopefully it’s nowhere near as bad as APB was.
Seriously agree, after wanting to try APB for so long finally got it up, played a bit for around 2 or so days, but the game was too complicated and vehicle handling was bad, the idea was there but the gameplay wasn’t great.

I hope the world size is greatly increased. The city in Sleeping Dogs is too small for a multiplayer game without getting boring quickly.
