Back in March, we shared with you a video showing off a soccer project in CRYENGINE. That project gave us a glimpse at what FIFA could look like in Crytek’s engine. Creator and polycount member ‘Gkan’ has finished this project and shared a number of screenshots. Ironically enough, this fan-made version of the Emirates Stadium looks way better than what EA Sports and Konami have produced for their current-gen versions of FIFA 15 and PES 2015. In short, this is what a true next-gen soccer game should look like. Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. Attention to detail is unbelievable
Glorious!
Hurrr durrrr if Fifa had no crowds or sideline people or 22 players on the football field.
GLORIOUS hahaha. Holy crap I just love these articles. Here is what a game will look like if we focus on that one thing in the game, be it this mess above or “what AC IV would look like on Cryengine if the ENTIRE game took place in a tiny bar or a tiny corner on a street”. Except these articles prove that those games can’t be summed up in 1 simple little early prototype. But watch the clueless people lap it all up like they think they understand what they are looking at.
What did you just say doesn’t make any sense
It’s a butthurt Sony shill angry that PC just keeps dominating this generation.
Just laugh at him and his silky smooth, cinematic 24 FPS rantings. And his inevitable “B-B-BUH $3000 PC” comeback.
ITS THAT TIME AGAIN
Yeah, I remember when PES was visually and graphically more impressive than FIFA, but then the gameplay was rudimentary. What will happen to this engine after they add it gameplay? And how that gameplay and its fluidity is going to be? Equally impressive and realistic?
