  1. Alpha 2.0 has been released, for first 1000 backers. It has minor bugs and glitches, so they are testing it on PTU. It will go live for everyone in one week (according to Chris). But you can check out some videos on youtube already. There aren’t enough videos yet but still it’s nice to see first step into Persistent Universe. From now on, it’s all about adding content. The technology is up and running.

      1. First Star System is live in PTU (only 1000 backers). It contains Sandbox Map, Multi Crew Ships and FPS. All were released in on package, running on same code and not bunch of different modules. It’ll go live for every backer 1-2 weeks from now. Right now the most active 1000 backers are testing it and giving them feedback to fix last minute bugs and glitches.

    1. they dont have the AA effect as one of the graphic options in the game yet, a dev said it’ll come through the end of development

    1. Don’t think it’s the final state of affairs… Although it’s really weird that they hold on without AA so long. People would already like to see it.

          1. No sh*t Einstein. Roberts keep saying that for the past 2years. Yet he keeps showing footage in order to show where the millions are going. Obviously you don’t know the story, so look it up.

  2. Graphical success has been already made. But that’s only one half of the success. The second one lies in gameplay. If the game is boring it will be a most disappointing thing for a very long time.
