Square Enix and United Front Games today release a brand new set of images for Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition. Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition packs improved, higher resolution textures, improved lighting, and higher number of particle effects, higher detailed character models, volumetric fog (i.e. fog/smog/mist/steam is now present in the game world), increased pedestrians and traffic density, rebuilt sound engine to heighten realism, more destructible objects in hand-to-hand fighting sequences and all 24 DLC packs have been integrated into the main game. The game has already been released on Steam. Enjoy!

Nice I enjoyed the original HD version for PC. My 970 shows up next week I will give this game a boot up for sure
I heard on the Steam forums that the graphic upgrades are unnoticeable and this should instead be treated like a “definitive edition”, since it’s the main game plus the DLC’s.
Just a warning, From what I’ve seen it doesn’t really look better and runs worse.
SquareEnix did the same thing with Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Charging twice for the same game lol (at least DE:HR had improved boss fights). But the only ones at fault here are the scores of m**ons that actually buy this sh**e.
Great game, not so fond of ‘hd’ versions but hey, if that helps them making Sleeping Dogs 2 I don’t mind them doing it.
Hmm sound pretty good then and im glad I havent played this game.
Check it out when you get the chance, it really is quite good.
This game was great in the first place, this is not really needed…
