Soldak Entertainment has released a new set of screenshots for its upcoming action RPG, Din’s Legacy. Din’s Legacy is described as an action RPG with mutating characters, set in a dynamic, evolving, fantasy world.
Here are the game’s key features:
- Experience your character mutating over time for good and bad
- Guide your character’s evolution (choosing/improving skills, suppressing unwanted mutations, etc)
- Use mutation points to mutate your character towards another character or sub-class
- Uniquely created worlds for every game, with different scenario, win/lose conditions, areas, monsters, items, and quests, give the player a new experience every time
- Explore a dynamic, evolving, living world
- Your choices truly impact the game
- Co-op multiplayer to adventure with friends
Soldak Entertainment aims to release the game in the fourth quarter of 2018 for Windows, Linux and Mac.

I mean, even Titan Quest has a bit better graphics and it was released 10 years ago (and this seems to be using a similar engine based on the screenshots?)… but if the gameplay is good, doesn’t really matter that much in these types of games
I feel the same, but at the same time I dig the kind of old look it has to it, like I do the way I look at old school DOOM clones.
Direct sequel to Din’s Curse?
Looks pretty bad. Need better texture artists and env. designers. And we’ll have to see if it atleast plays well.
I’m always looking for a good DIablo-style game, so I’ll give it a look.
