A lot of new screenshots for Resident Evil 2 Remake have surfaced online. These screenshots showcase some of the game’s environments, as well as its detailed character models for Leon, Claire and Ada. Do note, however, that these screenshots contain some spoilers so make sure not to view them if you want to avoid all possible spoilers.
Resident Evil 2 Remake looks absolutely stunning and will be one of the most beautiful games in 2019. The game releases in January 25th and is powered by the RE Engine; the same engine powering Resident Evil 7 and the upcoming Devil May Cry 5.
Earlier this year, there were reports suggesting that the game would be using NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Super Sampling tech. However, it’s not clear at this point whether the game will be indeed using any RTX effects (be it DLSS or real-time ray tracing) or not.

There are actually screenshots there. Unless John added them between the time you posted that and the time I clicked on the article (saw your comment 8 minutes after it was up). I’m guessing John added them, because he does tend to forget screenshots/videos in articles that practically need them.

I’ve had the same problem. It’s kinda weird, though. The linked image addresses are direct (they end with “.jpg”). After I click on one with the MMB, though, I don’t go to the direct image, but to imgur (as we can see in your image). However, when I drag the image to the new tab with the LMB or open it with MMB after I displayed the direct image at least once, I to the direct image right away.
Install Redirect Bypasser extension, then just middlemouse-click on each picture to open them in their full extension.

I don’t have this issue at all, since I use Hover Zoom+ which I highly recommend.
It lets you get a larger version by hovering over the image, clicking on many images opens a larger preview on the site itself, and middle clicking leads directly to the image.
I see your comment that said you don’t want to install another extension for something simple like this, but when it comes to images, Hover Zoom+ for me is a must. At the very least, give a try (and don’t forget to change the settings).

honestly even though i haven’t beat this game, i had sweetest childhood memories of this game when i was growing up, this and resident evil 3 an dino crysis games came in a time when i was living best times of my life.
I want a Hydro Thunder remake.
This might sound crazy but check out the Windows Store version called Hydro Thunder Hurricane it is actually really good and a remake of the DC classic. The water looks way better and it pretty much feels and plays the same. Also it actually works in multi screen correctly which made me do a double take LOL.
